This crucial stage goes beyond simply visualising the project, it provides an opportunity to interact with the product, test it, and assess its performance. Every element of the design is checked, revealing how materials, shapes, and functionality interact with one another.

Strengths and pain points are identified, enabling essential corrections and improvements to be made prior to finalisation.

Experiment, improve, finalise, start over

Innovation is not nurtured in the laboratory alone. That's why we also bring our ideas to the field.

Our product tests are performed in World Tour road races, on the most challenging Mountain Bike World Cup trails, in wind tunnels and in close collaboration with our professional athletes and brand ambassadors.

It's crucial to combine data with sensations, in the pursuit of that spark that will make our products unique.

UCI World Team

With 27 years of history, Groupama FDJ was established in 1997 by Marc and Yvon Madiot as a labor of love. Since then, the team has achieved over 500 victories, including 14 French national jerseys, 3 Monument Classics and 38 Grand Tour stages.

Through its Groupama FDJ Centre, the team has established a strong synergy with Wilier's Innovation Lab, focusing on the development and refinement of new products.

This collaboration has resulted in one of our most innovative models: Supersonica SLR.

MTB FACTORY TEAM

UCI Elite MTB Team

Wilier-Vittoria has been our Mountain Bike Factory team since 2022: a mix of athletes from all over Europe, set on conquering the international cross-country world.
 
In 2024, they won World Cup races, national jerseys, races of absolute national and international prestige, and the European cross-country title with Simone Avondetto, the first Italian cyclist in history to succeed in this enterprise.
 
Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory is a young and dynamic team whose athletes have allowed us to develop the new Wilier Urta MAX SLR after prolonged testing on the most demanding technical tracks around the world.
